Metzenbaum Scissors

Metzenbaum Scissors are surgical scissors that are used to cut soft and delicate tissues and for blunt dissection. The scissors come in variable shapes and have a relatively long shank-to-blade ratio. These scissors are often used in plastic surgeries and other cosmetic surgeries. At Alira Medical Devices, they are available in both straight and curved shapes. There are four types of Metzenbaum scissors: standard, TC, SC, and ceramic cut.
